Without some detail photos it's hard to give an age, but looks like a revival piece from the 60's. If you want a better estimate, you will have to take some photos showing construction. What did the dealer tell you?

I agree, it looks like a mid 20th century piece done in the Hitchcock style. Hitchcock, Ethan Allen, Heywood Wakefield and others did pieces like this.

I can see it is marked "vintage" on the tag so the seller is identifying it as not antique.
