Ohiomom's Peacock Stool

Stages of DevelopmentI 'curb-shopped' this little stool, filled the center with grout and did a "folk-art" peacock. I distressed the wood after painting....the picture does not do it justice...but I like the way it turned out. The plates came from a GS...they were originally from Pier One Imports...a dark pink, two shades of blue and yellow.
I did not use a pattern...and since my drawing skills are limited I refer to this as "primitive folk-art".....I just thougt the shape of the stool would look cool as peacock feathers...and went from there...
