Why and when should I spay or neuter my pet?

If you get a new pet, please make sure you spay or neuter immediately. Both cats and dogs can be safely neutered as young as 8-10 weeks old. There are a number of health benefits for either sex associated with neutering. This is a question that should be discussed at length with your pet's doctor, and if they tell you to wait until the animal is older please seek a second opinion.

Remember, there are too many unwanted animals out there that have to be put to sleep daily. By neutering your pet this will help the pet population and put our animal shelter donations to better use.
