Raven I'm not sure why they are in the places they are. The original one is in Kensington Gardens in London. I've seen that one as well. Others are in Australia, New Jersey, Liverpool, Toronto & Belgium. They were all cast from the original statue mold in London.
Sabbath, does your cat have a modeling contract yet? If not, I would shop that picture around!!
Mine is a picture of my kitty, Speckles (RIP). I was the third (and last) neighbor that she came to live with. She was a real sweetheart and I miss her. I think she was about 16 when she passed.

This is what the Bowring Park Wikipedia website says about this statue:
The Peter Pan was erected in memory of Sir Edgar Bowring's grandchild, Betty Munn, who had drowned along with her father at the sinking of the Florizel at Cappahayden. The statue was unveiled on August 29, 1925 with the following inscription;
In memory of a little girl who loved the Park.

i'm adding my voice to those, Casey, in saying that your photo is beautiful. I really like how the blue color of the statue is reflected in the blue tones of the tree beside Peter Pan.
