Yahoo Web Search and MSN

I have msn dot com as my home page. Now when I click on my IE icon to open it, msn dot com opens and also Yahoo Web Search page opens.
I went to Tools, Internet Options, General, removed yahoo web search from the home page options, leaving only msn dot com. I clicked on apply, then ok then restarted my computer.
I still have both pages open when I click on my IE icon. Can someone tell me how to get rid of the yahoo web search page?

After restarting, both pages opened again, and where I removed https search yahoo dot com in the home page box, its back again.
Try this, open IE, close the Yahoo tab leaving only the page that you want as your home page, then open Internet Options and choose Use Current. Apply and Ok.
