What width of copper foil do you prefer?

I use 3/16 and depending on which glass is used it's cheaper to use the black backed foil, but you'll be spending some time at the glass shop and you'll get the low down on everything!

Calamity - I'm with you 5/16 or 1/4. uroboros5 Sun, Jan 2, 05 at 9:24 Depends on the thickness of the glass! This varies, especially if you are using art glass. I use 3/16 most of the time, but sometimes I have to use 7/32. On a large project I might decide to use 7/32 throughout.
