From the Rim of Chisos mountains
Casey is that snow from over the weekend, or is that from last year?
We don't have any yet. A green Christmas for sure!
For a contrast here's the middle of winter in Rio. Taken at the end of Ipanema Beach on August 2, the southern hemisphere's equivalent of Groundhog's day.
Taken last Saturday on a hike. Bushtit.
I had to read that several times to make sure you weren't cursing at all of us. :-)
Happy I could add some excitement to your day Bob. :-)
Jsdip, that's from Sunday. We got a snowfall Saturday night, that's what we woke up to. Before that we had none. Doubtful it will melt before Christmas so I guess we'll have a White Christmas. Haven't had one for the past few years.
I did the same thing, Bob! lol
great pictures everyone!
dang it! I thought the site would adjust size
it does sometimes. Guess I'd better upload to photobucket
Pikes Peak Colorado
Just a little frog hanging out on the hose!
I'll try, but my photography doesn't come close to any of these lovely photos.
This is an older photo taken while Sam still had to stay on a check cord (so we'd have a chance of reeling him back in if he got lost in 'the zone'.)
Look in the top right corner. That's the Harry Dog, leaping for joy. He's either found skunk or a mouse. Since he came back relatively sweet smelling, we figured it was a mouse.
Caroline, I haven't seen your dogs in a while. LOVE Harry jumping!
Fallen redwood at Calaveras Big Trees State Park......unfortunately we were unable to hike down the trails to see more of these magnificent trees.
What great photos today ( and everyday!) Thank you ALL who post photos here! This thread is hte one I look forward to every day.
