The front island bed
Gazania, the deer just got all my Autumn Joy sedum. Yours look lovely. (At least I think that's what yours are.)
Driving over the mountain the other evening....
Alisande, what a foreboding look to that sky! The sedum is 'Matrona'. Deer come through my yard often, but the sedums are just about the only plants that they haven't eaten. I guess that there is enough other tastier things for them to destroy.
I've been seeing a lot of these clouds this fall. My friend Jennie calls them "Old Testament clouds."
Your Matrona is darker (and prettier) than my Autumn Joy. Maybe my Autumn Joy is tastier. :-)

One of my favorite pics of grandson!
Here's another Connecticut autumn scene. The leaves are turning quickly now. With continuing rain in the forecast, all our color may sadly end up on the ground shortly.
Autumn in the Gila National Forest of New Mexico.
When the gates of the Panama Canal locks close, they can be used as a walkway to the other side of that particular lock.
The neighbor's tree.
Schoolhouse, I'm trying to put your photo into perspective ... what are those objects below the tree? It would seem impossible they were houses but one never knows what Mother Earth can manage.
alisande, that pic looks like it's photoshoped. WOW! Thanks for posting a photo of how beautiful our world is.
