This kuiddo is now 47 years old, lol
Alisande, I have one of those too! lol Arent the eyes of butterflies interesting? I see a 'smiley face' in yours and mine.
Bigack...don't you wonder how our kids can get so old in such a short time!
A beautiful monarch butterfly on my Satsuma tree in the atrium
That's a gorgeous butterfly, Raven, but it's not what we call a Monarch--at least not here. Maybe in your neck of the woods. :-)
Love all the butterflies in today's pictures! What fabulous swallowtails. Gazania, what would we (and the butterflies) do without our Purple Cone Flowers?
great pictures! Asian pears in the backyard.
You are absolutely right and I know that but apparently had a brain poof lol, it is actually a Giant Swallowtail.
I have been having a lot of Monarch and Swallowtail both flitting around in my atrium.
Sorry for the error and thanks!
Lots of lovely pictures.
Thanks for the ID, Raven; I've never seen that one, and it's impressive!
Where do butterflies go in thunderstorms, I wonder....
The yawn....baby burrowing owls...6am...just getting up....
Owls! what cuties they are! I love owls. Have a modest collection of them, figurines and plush of course, but can count on one hand the ones I have seen in the wild. I have been enjoying your pics of these little guys. Thanks for posting them.
Gazania......I'm sorry to be posting so late. :0) I'm glad you stopped by to take a look......
Burrowing owls are a rarity here in the mountains of Colorado. Someone in Cherry Creek walks the open space trails and noticed the parent owls. It was a lucky find!!!! Dh and I are pretty excited!!!!
