I agree YUM! I may try that one soon
Last time I had Christmas brunch my menu consisted of Eggs Benedict casserole, Scotch eggs, fruit, eg.
Missing having those :o(
I'm going to make that soon, thanks for the recipe.
Gosh, Joann. Thank you!
I'm doing a brunch for the kids and grands on the 16th to celebrate Christmas before they all scatter to their other families. DD1 (35 years old) graduates college on the 15th and we will drive 2 hours to the ceremony. Out to dinner afterwards, so whatever I serve for brunch has to be made well in advance. This recipe is perfect! Thanks again!!!
That "ultimate Breakfast casserole" at the KTGP is a winner also. I've made it several times, we all love it.
Ultimate Breakfast Casserole
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 cups cubed bread
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cups cheese, grated
1 cups milk
1/2 cup sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
additions, to taste
\*You can substitute 3/4 pound (or 1 1/2 cups) sausage or ham or ground beef or Whatever you have!
You can get away with 1/4 cup butter. Or even margerine. If you must.
Add 1 cup chopped sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms, or other vegetables, if you like.
You can cut this recipe in half, just use a 8 x 8 pan.
Easy to make the night before and cook the next day.
Ooh...that does sound good! I'll be doing something different this time, but I saved this recipe for later. You are the best!
Thanks bunches for posting this. I might try making it but cut it in half and have it ready for our breakfast sometime, not just a holiday.
I am definetly going to make this for Xmas morning. Like receipes you can make the day before.
Great recipes...thanks for sharing!
OHMYGOSH...must make this soon!!
OMG, can you imagine how good this must smell? Yum--and thanks, Joann!
