Has anyone else seen this movie?
It's about a group of retirees who go to this hotel in India to retire.
We watched it tonight, and loved it.
It is a wonderful movie with a marvelous cast.
Thanks for the reminder - that's one movie that I want to see.
That is on my list. Looks wonderful.
One I want to see too.
I loved that movie! One of my favorite lines in a movie, ever - "It will all turn out all right in the end, and if it's not all right, then it's not the end yet."
We loved most of it, but there is a disjointed quality that took away from the movie as a whole. Awesome cast and acting, for sure. Just needed to be tightened up. Maybe the romantic subplot with the 'manager' was the weakness?
I think that is one of my favorite movies. I loved it.
Saw it last summer. I loved it.
We 'screened' it a couple of months ago and enjoyed it very much. I have to agree with sushipup though; it felt a tad 'draggy' in some of the less important parts -- and there were plenty of *important* parts!
Saw it in the theater last year...enjoyed it.
I read the book and loved it.
Since first previews, I knew I'd like it, but haven't seen it yet..almost bought it the other day. I know it will eventually be added to my movie library.
Good to hear so many have enjoyed it. :)
I, too, saw it a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was refreshing to see a movie with characters who were not young sex bombs!
Fabulous!!!!! The cast was amazing.
I saw it in the theater and just watched it again on dvd the other night. I just loved it. Lots of good lessons for those of us who are Medicare age or beyond.
Did any of you rent it from one of the movie sites? If so, which one?
Saw it, loved it.
We got it by Netflix DVD.
Netflix - 3.99
Free, from our awesome public library!
We watched it a few weeks ago, hubby liked it more than I did. I was disappointed, had expected it to be much better. It just seemed lackluster.
