Do you have DISH tv?
I do, but since yesterday afternoon I have the Aquiring Signal message on the screen. I've gotten that a time or two, but not for this long.
I called DISH this morning and got a message that there were no represetatives availble at this time; please call again later. About an hour later I called and after going trough the numbers, finally got a real live person. After some questions and try this, try that, the conclusion was it is a weather problem. Yesterday here was sunny all day; a little cloudy now, but clearing up.
Now here is a "coincidence" or not. Last month I canceled my contract with DISH, to be effective November 19th. Yesterday afternoon I called DIRECT TV to begin a contract with them. They will be here on the 17th to set it up. According to the person I talked to at DIRECT, that will not interfere with DISH, for those two days. A couple hours later I got the AS message from DISH.
Just makes me wonder. Happenstance or not?
