Since no one has started tonite's thread, I will again.
It was a gorgeous day today, albeit cool, which I love.
Tonite I made pasta with a fresh tomato sauce. Sauteed diced tomatoes in lots of olive oil and garlic and some red pepper flakes.
Low 60s this morning and low 70s now, after a high near 80.
Pot roast in the slow cooker, seasoned with horseradish, along with potatoes and carrots. Add freshly made coleslaw and I had a big (maybe too big) meal.
I want to go to Jim's house.
Chicken and jojos and a side salad.
Jim that sounds great! If you see 2 strange women ringing your doorbell, that would be Gadgets and me!

Grilled chicken and zucchetti wraps. Coffee gelato for dessert.
There is always room for more at our table. Just let me know at least 30 minutes before arriving so that I can put on clean clothes.
Jojos and zucchetti......I have no idea what they are.
Hot here today - around 95. I actually like hot weather. Would have liked it better if it was the weekend and I could have gone to the pool.
DH and I were supposed to go to a wine tasting tonight. He's had a bad headache all day and didn't feel like going. I ended up meeting friends there alone. It was very nice. DH had already eaten, so I stopped and got a frozen dinner from the grocery store for me.
Did not feel like cooking, so it's hamburgers and fries from In n Out. Love em!
Jojos was mentioned a few days ago as well. I too am curious.
We had just plain ol pizza. No one felt like cooking so we just grabbed a couple of pizzas at walmart and "doctored" them up...
I did not accomplish a lot today, but did get 3 nice zucchini out of our garden and another egg from Buttercup. The weather was perfect. I watched Alyssa forenoon till nap time and then this evening till after 9. My supper was a bowl of Frosted Rice Krispies.
JoJos are fried potato wedges. A potato cut into about 8 wedges and deep fried or roasted.
Thanks for the explanation, Angela. We love roasted potatoes, either cubed or wedges.
Sue, I love Buttercups's name! Is she a friendly hen?
Pizza, burgers, frozen dinners, grilled chicken, jojos, a lot of us eating light tonite.
"Zucchetti " is just a cutsie word for very thin strips of zucchini. I have a mandolin that can cut veggies into very thin, narrow strips and I use that a lot. But there is also a gadget that cuts the veggie into noodle shaped strips.
I made a quickie frittata with asparagus, onions, mushrooms, and cheese and a fresh picked salad of chard, cukes, and tomatoes.
I'm having a whole wheat pizza topped with veggies. Saw it while getting groceries today, I've never seen it before. It was really good.
I'm thinking about getting a mandolin so I can have zucchini spaghetti noodles. Will steal your word ! : )
