NCAA virtually kills Penn State Football -
Rather than the "death penalty", the NCAA simply sliced the football program(and Paterno's "legacy") into shreds.
Current football scholarship players can transfer scholarships to other schools, number of new scholarships allowed slashed almost in half, no bowl games for 5 years.
All of the football team wins since 1998(when the sordid affair started) have been erased from NCAA records, kicking the Paterno legacy of being the winning-est coach in history.
AND a 60 million dollar fine(which is said to reflect the yearly income from the football program).
The NCAA cited the University officials lack of ethics.
