I really enjoy working with a sharp knife. Currently I have the Chef Pro manual knife sharpener and I am considering upgrading to the Chef Pro 130 recommended by Cooks illustrated. Is it worth it?
There was a recent thread on knife sharpeners which pointed to a cooks illustrated recommendation at a bargain price of about seven dollars. I ordered it immediately and was satisfied at the outcome. Now, I cannot remember what I bought but I encourage you to find the thread which I believe I saw about two weeks before thanksgiving.
I also saw the thread carree mentioned above and I also purchased it. It works great.
