Soapstone Owners...I'm loving this stuff

gam51November 11, 2012

I read about a soapstone protector in a recent magazine so decided to try some. I LOVE how this stuff makes my soapstone feel. I like it so much better than mineral oil or beeswax that I have used since we installed our soapstone several years ago. It is called Soapstone Sealer and Wood Wax. I got it from realmilkpaint.com I don't know yet if it lasts as long as they say, but so far I am really happy with it.

It has a nice patina but no shine like I was getting right after using other products. Feels good too!

I have been using a similar product called "Soapstone Enhancer" from Green Mountain Soapstone. It works very well.
I just wanted to mention in case you all wanted to compare prices.
