Correct Me If Im Wrong

Scotty0613November 7, 2013

I live a condo, built in 1984 with florescent lighting on both sides. I have a small narrow kitchen, cement ceiling because I have a unit above me. Im refacing my cabinets and removing the florescent lights.

Im going to put up white track lighting in the center of the room. My question is & correct me if Im wrong If I "dont" get white track lights and someone walks into the kitchen, the first thing theyll see is black or bronze track lighting. Am I safe with a modern bronze color because thats what I really want.

Thanks,
Scotty

Indeed, the bronze might be more appealing to you, but the white track will "disappear" more in the ceiling, and that's a good thing, imhoâ¦.

Instead of traditional track lighting, would you consider something like this 49.00 at IKEA):

They have several types.

Another cool option would be this DIY kit from Lindsey Adelman. It can be bent to look more like track lighting.

Here is a link that might be useful: Adelman DIY kit
