Congratulations - looks beautiful! I can relate to the 8 years. I think mine will be almost 10 - hopefully I'll see mine this coming January.

What is your lovely floor?

It is lovely. My current remodel is going to be 4 months from acquisition to completion, but I'm sure it's not nearly as extensive as yours (but will include a new kitchen, yay). Sorry you had to wait so long.

Beautiful! We are in month 4 of our reno and sincerely hope we don't go to the 8 year mark. The way things are looking, though....

Thanks everyone! Not a typical GW or Houzz kitchen, so finding pics to validate what I see in my head has been a challenge!

The floors are Ten Oaks sealed unfinished hardwood. We actually like the light color, but will have them refinished to match the flooring in the rest of the house, which is much darker.

The long run is double oven, fridge, full cabinet, buffet cabinet, buffet cabinet and full cabinet to finish. Counter templating is tomorrow and install is the following week.

Counters are a dark brown granite. I am thinking cream subway or brown glass subway for BS, but the counters will tell me more once they are installed. I want to do an ORB lightover the sink, but can't find the "right" one. Argh!

Looking forward to tommorrow and wish you all the best on your projects.

I love the floors, too. Did you say they are unfinished and unsealed?

Jellytoast- This is what my info paper says- 3/4" Ten Oaks Sealed Unfinished Solid Hardwood Floors. Here is the website www.tenoaksflooring. com.

Our contractor will come back to sand off the top seal and finish normally.
