I'm so far overbudget I can't see straight. My husband says the ship has left the harbor and is floating in the ocean. Going to cost us the same amount of money to come back to the departure point or go to the destination. Might as well spend the money getting to the destination.

The lesson I've learned....keep a good sense of humor and whatever your budget is on paper, it's very hard to keep the paper numbers true to the actual numbers.

(giggle) I started off saying that I would spend $7000. That number quickly flew out the window when I spent almost that much on appliances alone.

I gave up on budgets because I have no money. [LOL]
I decide on the next step and save to make that happen.
Then, I work work work.
Then I decide on the next step.
Rinse & repeat.

The problem is that in the work work work period, I'll see something here and change my whole game plan. ARRRRghgghghg!
