24 inch stove opinions sought

fasitaOctober 22, 2013

i am trying to decided among:
Blue Star excellent stove but costly and needs venting
Bertazonni good looking but mixed reliability reviews
Smeg new to me

I suspect this stove is going to be more a design feature than actually used. Unlike the 30 blue star I use daily.
thanks

I should think the Berta, and likewise the Smeg, both need venting as well.

Why are you assuming your new stove won't be used in the same way that your current BS is? Going on a cooking strike?

any stove will proper venting. Is this an extra stove? If you suspect it will never get used, is there a point in buying and installing one?

Oh - are you possibly talking about an oven, not a stove?

This is the one you want. Miele Master Chef 24" This one's on sale on ebay, which is a great place to buy an appliance you don't plan to use much.

Here is a link that might be useful: Miele

If you can use a separate 24" oven and 24" cooktop, I have lots of good suggestions; I have no experience with 24" all-in-one stoves/ranges though

I often specify a 24" gas/electric SMEG stove to my clients, because they are pretty and not expensive, and never had a negative feedback. With Smeg I would stick to something low-tech though (gas burners and convection oven), because they do not manufacture most or their appliances.
