Franke Orca Owners

Many here recommend the stainless (non-coated) grids. I was planning on ordering them, then yesterday, somewhere on one of the Franke sites I noticed that they said that the coated grids help to protect the sink.

Have those of you with non-coated grids found that they scratch the sink, or are hard on it in any way?

Thanks for your thoughts.

The non-coated grids have little plastic pieces that fit over the outside edges of the stainless, so the metal parts never touch the sink. Each plastic piece is about an inch long and there are six total, two on each side that would come in contact with the sink.
