Composite granite or quartz farmhouse sink

BeccaTSeptember 22, 2013

My husband and I are in the planning stage of building a new home. I want a farmhouse style sink. My sister has had a composite granite undermount sink for 7 years and it looks like new. I've looked for a composite stone farmhouse sink, but have had no luck. I have found solid granite farmhouse sinks, but the cost is prohibitive. Does anyone know of a company that is offering a composite one?

Thanks so much.

I'll provide a few links for you. Mitrani makes a quartz farmhouse sink mentioned in one of the linked threads, but I wonder whether it might look a bit utility-laundry-room-ish. Hard to tell without seeing it IRL. Quartz is not as good as a granite composite material with a high proportion of granite like Silgranit, IMHO.
