kitchen countertop materials and nsf/ansi 51
I'm in the process of remodeling my kitchen, I'm considering one of the engineered stones - caesarstone, qortstone and silestone. I noticed that both caesarstone and silestone have been certified by NSF/ANSI 51 for the Food Zone but Qortstone was only certified by NSF/ANSI 51 for the Splash Zone. Does this mean that Qortstone is not as safe for the kitchen countertop for handling food? Thanks.
