Mixing granite and quartz

LaberglundAugust 22, 2012

Is this ok?

I'm going with dove white cabs on the perimeter and a stained espresso island. I know I'm going with black granite on the perimeter, but haven't been able to find a slab of white granite that I'm happy with for the island. Is it weird to use something like Cambria Tourquay on the island? or will this look funny?

Sounds pretty.

Mixing stones is no problem unless you have two really busy slabs, disparate colors (by this I mean really close, but don't go well together, like a beige stone with a gold) or a particularly small, totally walled off kitchen.
