How many years before white kitchen cabinets need to be repainted

pps7August 20, 2013

I have Shiloh inset white cabinets. After 3 years they are starting to show minor wear. Other than my sink cabinet- it's not anything that anyone else beside myself would notice.

I'm just curious how often people with white kitchen expect to repaint their cabinets? Every 5 years? 10 years?

I live alone.
Never.
Unless I want to change color.

This question can't be answered with a definitive. It's going to depend upon the usage. Is it a factory finish? Painted over one? Small kids? Active cook? or someone like me who used to cook but doesn't, so it's just a place to nuke soup.

Goo dluck with them. You have my dream cabinets.
