Kitchen backsplash with in wall windows (pic)

azcitrusAugust 17, 2012

This is the model of my kitchen. The only difference is my granite is black. When I do the backsplash, should I include the inner ledge of these in-wall windows? I can't find any pictures with backslashes with windows like these!

I'm thinking of doing small light grey/white marble tiles or glass tiles. I'm so excited :)

I don't think I would.
For me it would depend, in part, on the depth of the window ledge.
You might want to try a mock-up using your tiles and double stick tape to give you a, somewhat, better picture of what it will look like.
BTW, the mini-windows are a great idea.

Thank you! That is kind of what I was leaning towards. I was also trying to visualize not tiling them in and adding a small window sil would look, but that's probably weird? The mini windows are 17L x 9W x 5 (deep) each.
