Columbia Cabinets

lindanewcJuly 19, 2013

I'm FINALLY able to get serious about re-doing my kitchen and went to a cabinet guy today to have my plans drawn up. I had been looking at Diamond & Kraftmade, but he steered me towards Columbia Cabinets. He said they were very well made construction-wise & all frameless so that you get more space in each cabinet & drawer. They are also more expensive but he said the difference in quality far outweighed the difference in price. I'm waiting to see the cost, but in the meantime....

there's not much out about them...does anyone know about them?

I've had excellent results with Kraftmade, they've held up in our current house and our five rental units for the past 10 plus years. From the Web site of Columbia Cabinets, it's a Green Co which is more costly ( good for the Planet) tough on the wallet. I wouldn't shy away from Kraftmade.
Also for what it's worth, spend time on lighting, under counter and over head, it will make a WORLD of difference
Good luck
