I'm down to 2 sinks as of now and am torn. Would love input please!
The 2 sinks are:
1) 32" rectangular stainless from Mr. Direct, model # 3322S
2) 33" Blanco 440193 Diamond Single Basin, Silgranit II in metallic grey. http://www.build.com/blanco-440193/s205276
In context: custom cabinets in natural cherry with zinc countertops. Appliances are all Bosch stainless - FD counter depth fridge, dishwasher and slide in glass top range. XO slide out range hood in stainless.
I'm leaning towards the Blanco Silgranit as everyone on these forums who has one raves about it, it looks great and can be dropped in which I sort of think might be better with zinc countertops. I've never seen one in person, so don't know how well it would go with zinc, which will look more like pewter than stainless after awhile.
Still a bit torn about the backsplash, too, but I'm leaning towards white crackle subway tile at the moment.
After a structural engineer was wrong (we learned by removing the wall he said was safe to remove) and surprise asbestos abatement (9 x 9 tiles between ugly laminate and beautiful vertical grain heart of pine floors), I am so ready to move forward. There's a seemingly endless number of decisions that goes into a kitchen when you gut and start over. Any thoughts would be most appreciated. I've been thinking too much to think clearly anymore.
