medium dark cabinets, black aurora granite, natural mahogany floor, does this sound too dark? Lots of natural and LED lights. Fearful of going further and running out of time.
I have cherry base cabinets with Magna Gold granite. My floors are beige travertine and my wall cabinets are off white with good natural lighting, so not too dark. I love medium wood tones for a kitchen!
Use a planner program like the free one at the Lowes website and mock it up. It is of tremendous value to see your kitchen this way before you start writing checks.
With darker cabinets, you need other light elements in the room.
For the Kemper Black Forest on Alder here, we used Golden River granite, which is a mix of medium and light tones, and a porcelain tile floor that also provided some contrast here.

For the Kemper Echo Sandstone with Brown Sugar Glaze on Cherry vignette here, we used New Venetian Gold counters, with an ivory travertine backsplash, and a porcelain Scabos travertine lookalike on the floor. Dark elements need light elements to work.
