Single or double basin apron sink?

CPereJune 27, 2013

I have a question for the GW community: how do you feel about your single basin apron sinks? I love the Kohler cast iron apron sinks and want to put one in our new kitchen but worry about losing the second you like the single, large basin? Is it hard to fill or less functional than the double basin sinks? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I love my Kohler Whitehaven! It was just installed Monday but honestly my sink and faucet is the absolute most favorite part of my kitchen.

I had a double sink before and liked it well enough. I was even a bit resistant to a single basin sink but I loved the Whitehaven and DD loves her single basin sink so I thought I would go with it and I am so very glad that I did.

Here is a pic. Excuse the lack of window trim. That will be completed on Tuesday.
