Garage door opener wiring question

N2GamingAugust 20, 2011

Hi all new member here.

I have a Craftsman Model #13953954 - Garage door opener and I was hoping some one could tell me how to properly wire the doorbell switch on the wall to my unit.

Thank you,

Biff

Try the garage door forum. Most likely there are two screws on the opener that the button gets directly connected to.

Connect to the two terminal screws on the back of the door control by color; white to #2, red/white to #1.

Connect the bell wire to the two terminal screws on the motor control unit; white to #2, red/white to #1.

You can find the manual at the link below. (The doorbell wiring is on page 18).
