Energy Star Vinyl Window condensation
We have energy star double pane vinyl windows installed last fall. It's milgard and supposed to meet all the energy saving criteria in order to qualify for the tax refund.
Recently as temperature dropped, I noticed there is water drop condensation accumulated around the bottom edge of the bedroom window. It only appears on one side of the panel on a slider, the side close to the head of our bed. I have a humidity stat right aside the window. It showed 70% before I go to bed and ~60% in the morning. The condensation only appears on the house side of the glass, not in between the double pane area.
I just want to know if this is common to all "new" double pane windows? Should I worry about it and contact the window retailer for it?
Thanks all for your inputs.
