Crafters with Grandchildren

fnmrobertsSeptember 19, 2007

It is time to be thinking about making that special heirloom for youngsters for the upcoming holiday. If you have one about the age of 2, a rocking horse or other hand-made rocker is something to consider.

Several years ago I built ones for our grandchildren, now 8 and 5. They have been ridden many miles and both remain in their bedrooms.

A variety of plans are available at your local woodworker store or on-line. Many only require basic woodworking equipment and skill - just care.

Photos or mine are linked from "My Page".
