use of old dresser?

Hoping someone can help with my idea of transforming a old chest of drawers into a desk....also have a vanity that could be used if needed..want a hutch type if possible..sorry can't post any pics

For a couple of days, this has had me puzzled. A dresser is a significantly different piece of furniture from a desk. I can't envision what you have in mind. Assuming the height is correct, 29-30", how are you going to get a kneehole in the middle of the drawer area?
