cherry tree fell down

topsiebeezelbubMay 2, 2010

Is anyone in the Huntsville Al. area interested in a fallen native black cherry tree...about 3 feet in diameter and 10 or so feet long? Thought somebody might like to make some bowls or something. It would be a bear to remove. All the limbs have been cleaned up already, now have a huge trunk in the flower bed...tornado took it down.

Look in your phone book and on the web to find someone with a portable log milling machine. Call them and they might want it. The log might be beyond saving already.

Put a free ad in your local CraigsList in the 'materials' for sale section. We get lots of fallen tree ads in there, and I think local woodworkers haunt it regularly.

Or just the "free" listings on craigslist, it gets a lot more traffic than the "materials."
