Coastal Florida windows
We are building a home in SW Florida on the bay and are just under a mile as the crow flies to the Gulf. So we are definitely in a high salt environment. From my research, Marvin integrity with its fiberglass seems to be relatively resilient in our environment. Our Integrity quote came in at 110k and seems a bit high, so now I find myself investigating other brands and window technologies i.e. vinyl vs aluminum clad. It's really hard for me to look at new brands as I know that Marvin really is the best in every respect.
So, which windows with wood interiors would you guys recommend for my area?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
