recommendations for furniture or cabinet makers in NJ?

jess111April 12, 2008

I am trying to put together a kitchen island/table. The quotes from my KD are very high, and I was advised that a cabinet or furniture maker could be a much better option. Does anyone have any suggestions for craftsmen in NJ? I'm also interested in someone who could fabricate a custom walnut top. I don't even know how to start looking-the phone book is no help.

Frank Klausz in Plunkemin (sp?) He is a top notch builder. Should be under "Frank's Cabinet Shop."

He writes for some of the magazines and gives seminars. He is a third genearation, European apprenticed master.

If price is a primary concern, he is probably not your guy. If quality is, he will do a good job for you.
