Rotting Pella windows

dhwoodaAugust 21, 2010

My pella proline windows and sliding oors have been rotting since being installed in 1993. It's now manifesting itself as the aluminum cladding is falling off manifesting severe rotting. Double hungs, sliding doors casement all are defective and Pella is in major protect mode due to pending class action suits. Avoid Pella in all cases and if you have replacement recommendation bring them on!

If you want wood or fiberglass, go with Marvin. If you want vinyl, go with Simonton, Okna, Softlite, PGT, Gorell, Great Lakes or Sunrise.
