Marvin Integrity Locking Mechanism Question

cookiemonster7July 24, 2012

We are looking at Marvin Integrity, but I'm not too sure about the locking mechanism. The one I saw in the local showroom has the "catch" on the moving window itself (casement). I also recall the locking system being exposed when the window is open.

Is my recollection correct about the locking system?

Can anyone offer any insight with regard to this?

thanks for your professional opinions.

I think you will find that most lock mechanisms will be exposed when the window is open.

Most newer casements should come standard with a multi-point locking mechanism as well.

The Marvin Integrity's don't come with a multi point lock until you get into the larger windows...at least that is what the local salesperson said...I think he said 36".

Are you sure he wasn't referring to the double hungs?

The latch on your front door is exposed when the door is open?
