was inspired by a wall of trees where the light came through creating a fab gradation of greens
but I thought that might get a bit boring so I decided it needed a foreground
so today I got out some chalk and drew up a concept
That's so clever -- like always !
***Waving hi -- nice to see you again !! ***
its great to see you too K
Very cool. Love the color gradation from top to bottom. And the 3-dimensional vine is incredible.
I love seeing everybody's creations. You are so creative.
Very cool! What is the vine made out of?
Freak ! :-)
getting freaky!!!! bahahahaha
Loribee, the vine is done with a wire armature and Apoxie Scupt
Very cool. I have some sculpey but haven't opened the package to do anything with it yet. This is an inspiring piece. Looks very cool when backlit. (Love the curious cat, LOL)
IS this piece for yourself ? You're just a mosaic "machine!" -- LOL It's so cool so far .
No Toomuch, my goal is to sell it. The studio where I teach will participate in open studios weekend tour and its a great opportunity to show my stuff, I sold a lot last year including my poppies window so I need to finish this for the 1st week of Nov
pushing along (because I can stall out for months at a time!)
Have lots of old windows to play with but have been in a rut. Your work is inspiring! maybe I'll get off my derriere soon and start something new.:O)

Isn't it? Fan-tabulous!
FINALLY, all glued.. just have to wait for the last bit of glue to clear and I'll get to the grouting, then some fine tuning to the frame treatment and ... whew
When man meets nature, he carves out a space for himself exposing the secret shady spaces deep under the trees. When he's gone, nature will reclaim it.
Magical and amazing.
