Semco Patio doors

chip987June 27, 2010

Hi all,

I am looking to replace my sliding patio door and was considering the Semco sliding doors. Does anyone have these or have an opinion on them? I was considering the Andersens but I wanted aluminum clad, assuming they are better, and Andersens are a treated exterior wood. The semco dealer said he has an Andersen and the inside wood was delaminating. Marvins are nice...and pricey.

The Semco looked very well made with good cladding. But so does Peachtree and I was told to run from them.

Any opinions on these would be helpful.
