Are Interstate products any good?

reveriereptileApril 28, 2014

I figured I'd ask this in the window section even though we are needing to buy sliding glass patio doors. I assumed if their windows are bad then their doors would be also.
We are looking for high quality patio doors that will hold up good during the winter since we will have 4 in our living room. There are a couple other places that we got quotes from for around $900 a piece. Once place had Interstate that they claim was high quality that they sale for less than $500 each.
I want to know how high quality they are since that is the prices of lowes junk ones.
If anyone has any experience with their windows or doors let me know what you think of them.

I couldn't buy a quality door for around that number and I buy a bunch a year.

I will let that comment speak for itself.

That's what I was thinking. He would be better to get the $900 doors than the cheaper ones unless he doesn't mind replacing them later. We will have radiant floor heat which should help keep it warm but we don't need possibly drafty doors.
