My latest WIP, a cool old Mexican guitar
I loved doing this one. It's ready to grout with my favorite - a pale brown. The stained glass is from the glass factory in Vancouver, WA that closed its doors. The 23K gold edges are from dinner plates that I bought at a thrift shop in Wimberley. The "strings" are dichroic stringers from Helios Glass, and the "tuners" are beads. This is a birthday present for a man who owns a music shop in Austin. After I grout this, I will go back to working on the glass head. Thanks for looking!
