Glue for food dishes

I want to make some dessert plates and dishes, some 2 & 3 tiered, from found items. Does anybody know what kind of glue would be nontoxic for use on food servers?

there is food safe adhesive silicone available. I first spotted it on looking for dishwasher safe silicone.
