Cake stand fixer upper...

I puarchased this heavy cast iron cake stand @ a thrift store for $6. Then about a month ago the neighbor put several marble tiles out with her trash, which I picked up thinking they looked useful. :0) DH cut one of the marble tiles to fit....and the result....

PlumDoodles....DH used a 4" diamond blade. Ran water over it while cutting. He scissored back and forth on the 12" tile, exagerating every cut. Then ran the blade while holding the round up to it, to round it up even more.
