RECIPE: Vegetable juice

starraffyFebruary 5, 2014

Who owns a juicer? What vegetable do you use in juicing and can you share your recipe? Would love to hear from other people who benefited from juicing.

I've had Acme, Champion, and Norwalk juicers in the past.

Now I'm using a Nutri bullet because I want fiber as well as juice.

Typical drink includes:

Greens (spinach, dandelion, kale, etc)
banana
ginger root-sm piece
garlic-single clove
acidophillus liquid/powder
Vit C crystals
Vit D drops
liquid multi-vitamin or b-complex (depending on other ingredients)
carrot, beet or apple
frozen rice milk cubes to cool it off
Rice/almond milk

The instructions call for the lighter items to be added first so the blade can more easily reach/crush/pulverize the tougher veggies.

You can use whatever you like. I prefer to add vitamins to the juice than take a bunch of pills. I always wash the container out immediately after pouring it in a glass so it is ready to go again the next morning. There are only two pieces so this makes it more convenient than my juicer. I got tired of scraping (tossing) the pulp and having to wash numerous pieces.
