? about windows

mrs.mickiJuly 1, 2007

I have some old wooden framed windows and want to make a key holder. How do I cover the sides of frame?

The sides look very ugly where the tracks for the windows to slide up and down are.

I thought about putting ribbon all around the edges, just not sure if I should do something else first. Thanks for the help.

My first thought would be to just nail wood strips onto the sides and bottom, then paint them to match the window. Good luck with your project, and hope you post a pic for us to see. Luvs
