I was wondering how to take galvanized wire and make it look rusty. I want it to have that "old" look. thanks

I had took some wire that came off of some mattress that we burned, which rusted then. Then I also put them in a bucket and left outside and they really rusted good. I've heard of people using a product just for rusting, I think it's called instant rust. I haven't tried that yet. Good Luck

I have heard of using vinegar to take off the protective coating and then putting it outside for a while to rust naturally. Never tried it, so I don't know if it works.
