1970's-1980's decorative painting books?

springrozDecember 2, 2013

Can someone help me please?

I painted from some books from the 1980's that had some sort of Amish title. They were not typical of the day country art, and they also sold wood for the projects.

There was a cradle that had billy goats on it, and I painted a wooden herb box from the patterns. I also painted a wooden shoe shine kit that has a barn on it.

Can someone help me identify the name of these books, please?

Thank you!!

Nancy

Helen Barrick has a series of books call Whippersnappers that may be what you are looking for. They were popular in the 80's.
