Brands of semi/custom-custom cabinets made in the US

beantownrenovatorMay 25, 2013

Hi All - Back after five yrs. with a new kitchen project! We are planning our kitchen in our forever home and trying to figure out the best cabinet for the price we can find. Want something made in the US. Will be using SubZero and Wolf appliances so want something high end but really looking for value. Could you help with some brands to look at? Thank you!

I love my Dynasty cabinets installed last year....Omega is their more custom line.....you can get a mix of both if needed.

I'm certain those in the Boston area (beantown?) can recommend a good local custom cabinet maker. These can be competitive in price to any mid to high end manufacturer.

I went with Crystal, which is made in Minnesota. In the price spectrum, it is considered mid-high. I am quite satisfied thus far, as I near completion.

We also went with Crystal and have been happy with them. I'd also see if you can find local cabinetmakers. We had found a good one, but they were booked too far out....they also sold the Crystal brand, which we bought through them.

Hi-We have Dewils cabinets which were installed almost 3 years ago. They are a semi-custom line made in Vancouver,WA, so quite local for us (we're in eastern WA). We have had no issues with them; in fact we love the look, durability, and finish (ours are natural cherry).

Have you considered RTA using Conestoga doors? Several excellent distributors for this line are The Cabinet Joint and Cabinet Authority. Both can do custom or semi-custom with modifications within 1/4". The finishes, materials, and construction are top notch.
